visitors!

B's mom and mammaw left this morning. We had a short and sweet time together. I loved being in the room with three generations sitting on the couch. I also love inheriting yummy recipes....especially ones that call for a handful of this, and tad of that, and the word eyeball:)

Oh, old people make me laugh.

We went out to a wonderful dinner at Magnolias and sampled some of B's sensational creations...scallops, fried green tomatoes, tuna, hummus springrolls, and of course, steak with pimento cheese on top. Oh how i love being married to an AMAZING CHEF.

Right now i'm sitting on the porch listening to a good old fashion summer rainstorm. love it. Did you see the moon last night?

B is scooping up delicious bowls of Banana Pudding ice cream. He said he got it for me, but i have a sneaking suspicion that he may have had an ulterior motive....
